Vegan Chic has been around since 2011, when it was by LA-based vegan couple Vessela and Mark Mulcahy. Their goal was to offer cruelty-free products, manufactured under fair working conditions.

Vegan Chic sells, well, very chic briefcases, backpacks and messenger bags. Most of them are not on the casual side of design, but that’s just fine, because they all look great. They did a good job of choosing the best looking bags out of the vegan bags that are manufactured and offering the best of the bunch.

They also sell vegan wallets, some are classy and elegant, leather-like thin wallets, and some are more casual canvas wallets. All in all they offer a very good selection with something for everyone. I know, finding vegan shoes for kids isn’t always easy. It’s fortunate that Vegan Chic offer a small but nice collection of shoes for almost all ages (except first step shoes). You can find great-looking sneakers for toddlers between the ages of 1 to 5 and for ages 7 to 12. They also offer sandals for most ages that are very comfortable, are easy to put on (and kid loves them).

Vegan Chic accepts PayPal or credit cards. There’s also an option to order by telephone if for some reason you can’t or don’t want to order online.

You can choose either UPS for extra-fast delivery or the usual USPS delivery. Orders are shipped within 2 business days and you can choose whether to have the package delivered to your front door (if no one’s home) or require signature upon delivery.

In order to be more eco-friendly, Vegan Chic sends out all orders in recycled/re-usable shoe bag instead of the original manufacturer box. According to Vegan chic, this results in smaller packages, thus there is less waste and better use of truck/airplane space which carry the packages. A small contribution to reducing carbon footprint, which, if was adopted by more businesses would have a large impact on the environment.

Customer Service

All items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days, but unlike many other stores, even if you return items after 30 days, you can still get store credit. Just don’t forget to fill out the Return Form found on their website.

Customer support are available via the contact form on the website or by telephone (you can also purchase through the telephone and not just online). If they don’t answer you can leave a message and they will call you back quickly. Vegan Chic take their customers and the service they provide them very seriously.
